Lethbridge Solar Panel Installations

Right from the initial meeting with Jason! He educated us and answered all our questions very well – we felt comfortable with his presentation. Energy Smart looked after all the City permits and needed inspections – so easy for us! The installation crew even showed up earlier than Jason had said! They were all very professional and worked well together, kept us informed all through the process as to what they were up to and then, get this: cleaned up after themselves! Scott followed up with us going through the online app so we can keep track of the energy produced and savings! He answered our questions very well too. It’s great to support a local company and so nice to have the crew and support staff all take such pride in their craft! Highly recommend anyone looking to have solar panels to call Energy Smart Canada!!

They helped us out with information every step of the way, including signing up for the Greener Homes Loan. While we were waiting for the install due to the extremely high demand they have, the team kept us updated on where we were in their queue and with permits.

Once they were ready to install them, the team was so efficient and we had them fully running within two days! They made sure we were happy every step of the way, even confirming that we were happy with where they installed the wiring. When everything was finished, they sent us a very detailed list of the next steps to take to complete our loan, switch to power companies that would give us more value, and apply for other funding.

We’re excited to already be producing power even though our install happened right before the winter weather hit and can’t wait to maximize our panels through the summer!

Everyone was courteous and friendly. They anticipated many of our questions as well as some we hadn’t considered. All follow up inquiries and concerns were dealt with immediately. Work was completed well within the timeframe given to us at the beginning of our enquiries. The installation crew was the most personable, capable, and efficient group of workers we’ve had the privilege of hiring. The office staff helped us install and understand the App that tracks our production, when we ran into difficulties. AND they never made us feel inadequate! Energy Smart and Corellian helped us with a small sun room extension with solar panels. We can also monitor how well the solar panels are working each day (depending on the amount of sun they are receiving) and reduction of CO2 through the use of the solar panels. Everything was done on time and very professionally. I highly recommend working with Energy Smart and Ian!

We had Energy Smart install our Solar in Lethbridge July 2022. They were the best priced out of all the competitors, had the best customer service, and have always answered my questions – both before and after install. I also liked dealing with someone local who isn’t based out of Calgary, as I feel they have more ownership of their work and quality, as they are based in our community here!

They took care of the permits, provided guidance with the Federal Grant, and aligned everything for the install date including the electrician and city inspectors. (The Federal loan was not an option at the time of our install, however we’ve heard from friends that they provided help and guidance on qualifying for that program too!)

During install, the Pigeon guard wasn’t installed due to backorder issues – and they were happy to wait for final payment of the project until their work was 100% complete. They returned in less than 2 weeks and completed the install.

They have a great warranty and use high quality Solar Panels (verified by an electrical engineer friend who installs large solar farms in Alberta).

The monitoring app you get is addictive to check and see how your system is doing and how much you are generating!! We have recommended them to our friends who also had multiple quotes from different suppliers, and have ended up choosing Energy Smart.

Rudy, Peter, Adrien and team are great to work with. We also bought our Hot Tub from Rudy in 2020, and recommend Arctic Spas for that product too.

“Plug and play” is what I think of as it all was so seamless and now I can monitor the production of the units anytime and anywhere I want to do so. Adrien and Christine in the office have gone far beyond their “job description” to be encouraging, cheerful and so helpful in walking with me from the initial stage to completion of the project. Not only that, but they continue to be available to answer any questions I have, doing so much more than I expected for a retailer/installer. I cannot say more good about them and Energy Smart Lethbridge.
